About the Position We are looking for a reliable, hands-on, and hardworking In-House Maintenance Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our buildings, offices, parking areas, and facilities. This position involves a combination of general cleaning, routine maintenance, minor repairs, winter snow removal, and assistance with daily operations. The ideal candidate is organized, takes pride in their work, and can work independently while supporting other team members when needed.

Key Responsibilities
General Cleaning and Sanitation
- Sweep, mop, and maintain floors throughout the buildings.
- Empty garbage and ensure waste is disposed of properly.
- Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, including men's and women's showers.
- Clean windows, mirrors, glass partitions, furniture, fixtures, door handles, and indoor lighting.
- Dust office furniture, walls, machines, and equipment, and vacuum office carpets.
- Wash, dry, fold, and put away shower kits and supplies.
- Wash blankets used in hotel rooms.
- Keep the parking lot clean and free of debris. Building Maintenance and Repairs
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs as required.
- Make basic adjustments to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, within the scope of training and authorization.
- Monitor building safety and security, including locking doors after business hours and identifying potential hazards.
- Move furniture, equipment,



and supplies when necessary.
- Report major repairs, maintenance concerns, or equipment issues to management.
- Monitor and request cleaning supplies, tools, and maintenance equipment as needed. Facility and Operational Support
- Set up, organize, and clean conference rooms and offices.
- Assist the housekeeping department when required.
- Perform small tasks and provide support for La Belle Province operations.
- Remove snow and ice from sidewalks, emergency exits and stairs, and accessible ramps during the winter season.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous experience in maintenance, cleaning, or general building upkeep is an asset.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures and minor repairs.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving furniture and equipment.
- Comfortable working with cleaning products and maintenance tools.
- Reliable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time-management skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
