Binkadi Community Services is hiring skilled Specialized Awake Child and Youth Workers for staffed Child / Youth Homes in support of individuals that present with a variety of challenging behaviours including dysregulation and aggression resulting from, disrupted attachment and complex trauma. Successful candidates should have the following

- passion and dedication to supporting this clientele Job duties include: providing a safe, secure home environment, household management, meal planning and preparation, budgeting, maintaining the home and yard, following the child / youth's plan of care,



providing emotional support ,responding to any immediate needs of the child / youth and medication administration All applicants must pass a vulnerable sector criminal record check (submitted by our agency) and provide a valid first aid certificate within 60 days of hiring. Team members are eligible for extended health benefits after six months of regular employment (minimum of 24 hours per week). Applicants must have a related degree, 2 years experience in the field or a combination of both. This position requires coverage on weekends.
