Swedish Canadian Rest Home Association is a non-profit senior housing society. As a General Housekeeper, you help maintain clean, orderly shared and residential spaces. Your impact: A well-kept workplace helps residents feel comfortable and supports their day-to-day wellbeing. Summary of Duties:
- Light weekly cleaning of resident suites following the job routine provided;
- Daily cleaning of common areas;
- Quarterly cleaning of resident suites;
- Complete cleaning of vacant suites ensuring the suites are ready for new occupants;
- Initiating acute infection control procedures in compliance with the viral outbreak procedures;
- Maintain an awareness of each resident’s allergies or other sensitivities with respect to cleaning products;




- Maintain a positive and professional demeanour with the residents, their families, guests, and other employees. Knowledge & Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing;
- Ability to deal with others effectively;
- Can work well as a team or with minimal supervision;
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position;
- Ability to operate related equipment;
- Ability to organize work;
- Display a positive attitude toward the elderly Pay: $22.10 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 per week Work
