You will welcome customers, help them with product questions and orders, process payments, and keep our retail counter organized and running smoothly. You will also support inventory tracking and routine retail administration. What You’ll Do
- Greet customers warmly and provide helpful, professional service at the retail counter.
- Answer questions about products, availability, and basic product information.
- Take customer orders in person, by phone, and by email, accurately recording products, quantities, and any special instructions.
- Confirm order details with customers and communicate requirements to the preparation and pickup teams.
- Process sales and payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system, issue receipts, and follow cash-handling and end-of-shift reconciliation procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail counter, ensuring products are handled, stored, and displayed according to food safety requirements.
- Monitor stock levels, record replenishment needs, and communicate shortages or concerns.
- Handle day-to-day retail inventory, including receiving and checking stock, replenishing products, maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting counts, and reporting shortages or discrepancies.
- Complete routine administrative tasks, including data entry, email communication, basic reporting, and maintaining accurate retail records.




- Complete assigned Shopify and POS data entry and record updates, referring pricing changes and other approval decisions to management.
- Assist with opening and closing duties and support retail team members during busy periods.
- Work closely with Retail, Production, Sales, and Finance to support customer service and daily operations.
- Follow company procedures and food safety and health and safety requirements, promptly reporting hazards, discrepancies, or operational concerns.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs. What You Bring
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Friendly, professional communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail when recording orders, processing payments, and maintaining records.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Willingness and ability to learn Shopify, POS, inventory, ordering, reporting, and retail management systems.
- Ability to follow procedures and maintain food safety standards.
- A reliable, customer-focused approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Working Conditions
- Retail counter environment within a food-processing facility.
- Frequent customer interaction and extended periods of standing, with some seated administrative work.
- Handling products and operating POS equipment.




- Ability to safely lift and move products weighing up to 50 lbs, with accommodation considered as required.
