Static Security Officer – Nights *Overview* As a Static Security Officer – Nights, you are responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and orderly environment throughout the overnight hours. You will remain alert, conduct regular and documented patrols, monitor site activity, and respond professionally to any incidents or concerns. This position requires the use of TrackTik security management software to conduct, record, and verify scheduled patrols throughout the property. Officers must be comfortable using a mobile device to scan designated NFC checkpoints and ensure all patrol activities are accurately recorded in real time. Your consistent presence, attention to detail, and accurate reporting help ensure site security and provide a smooth transition for incoming staff. *Responsibilities*
- Conduct regular and thorough foot patrols of the property, including entrances, exits, common areas, and other designated locations.
- Use TrackTik software throughout each shift to complete and digitally document scheduled patrols.
- Scan designated NFC checkpoints using the site-provided mobile device to verify patrol completion.
- Ensure patrols are completed at the required intervals and that all checkpoints are scanned accurately.
- Observe site activity, identifying and reporting suspicious or unusual behaviour.
- Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns in accordance with established procedures.
- Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity reports,



and shift notes through TrackTik as required.
- Communicate relevant observations, incidents, and outstanding concerns to management and incoming officers.
- Maintain a professional presence and follow all site-specific post orders and company policies. *Requirements* Required:
- Strong observation skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently overnight.
- Explicit verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to use a smartphone or mobile device and navigate software applications.
- Willingness and ability to use TrackTik to conduct, document, and verify regular site patrols.
- Ability to follow established patrol schedules, scan NFC checkpoints, and maintain accurate digital records.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a professional approach to security responsibilities. *Preferred:*
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, surveillance, or loss prevention.
- Familiarity with digital security reporting systems.
- Previous experience using TrackTik or similar security management software. Important: The use of TrackTik is a mandatory component of this position. Officers must complete their assigned digital patrols and ensure all required checkpoints are recorded during every shift. Pay: From $18.25 per hour Expected hours: 37.5 per week
