NOW HIRING – CNC MACHINIST / PROGRAMMER Spark Manufacturing Ltd. – Windsor, Ontario Pay: $25.00-$34.00/hour, based on experience Spark Manufacturing is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our growing fabrication and machining shop. We operate Fadal 4020 and Viper VF4 CNC vertical mills and use Autodesk Fusion 360 for CNC programming. We are looking for a self-sufficient machinist who is comfortable programming, setting up, and operating older-generation CNC equipment in a custom job-shop environment. Responsibilities
- Create CNC milling programs using Fusion 360 CAM
- Program parts directly from engineering drawings and CAD models
- Set up and operate Fadal and Viper vertical machining centers
- Select tooling, workholding, feeds, speeds, and machining strategies
- Set work offsets and tool offsets
- Troubleshoot programs and edit G-code as required
- Inspect finished parts and maintain required tolerances
- Complete one-off and small-batch machining jobs Qualifications
- Proven CNC milling programming and setup experience
- Experience using Fusion 360 CAM preferred
- Strong understanding of G-code and CNC machining
- Ability to independently program, set up, and complete jobs
- Experience with older CNC controllers is an asset
- Previous Fadal experience is a solid advantage
- Strong blueprint reading and measuring skills We are looking for a complete machinist, not simply a CNC machine operator. The successful candidate will be capable of taking a drawing through programming, setup, machining, and final inspection.
