Fortius Physiotherapy and Wellness is looking for an enthusiastic, dependable, and experienced Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team We are an outpatient orthopedic physiotherapy practice looking for someone who enjoys working with people of all ages, thrives in a team environment, and is confident assisting with patient rehabilitation programs. Previous physiotherapy or rehabilitation clinic experience is strongly recommended Job Responsibilities
- Assisting physiotherapists with patient treatment plans and rehabilitation programs.
- Guiding patients through prescribed therapeutic and strengthening exercises.
- Working with patients of all ages, from pediatric to senior populations.
- Setting up and assisting with therapeutic modalities as directed by the physiotherapist.
- Using electronic medical records (EMR) for patient documentation and clinic operations.
- Preparing treatment areas and ensuring equipment and clinic is clean and organized.
- Helping maintain productive patient flow throughout the clinic.
- Providing friendly, professional, and compassionate patient care. Qualifications & Professional Competencies
- Previous experience in a physiotherapy, chiropractic, sports medicine,



or rehabilitation clinic is strongly recommended.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is a strong asset.
- Comfortable working with patients of all ages.
- Familiarity with orthopedic rehabilitation, exercise programs, and therapeutic modalities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized, reliable, punctual, and able to multitask.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work between our Niagara Falls and Thorold locations. Position Details
