Company Overview Sundown Oilfield Services Ltd. provides oilfield services, including pipeline maintenance and facility and pipeline construction. Sundown Oilfield is currently hiring the Coating Inspector -NACE Level 2 for the upcoming winter project. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspection: Conducting thorough inspections of coating applications, including surface preparation, coating thickness, adhesion, and visual appearance.
- Documentation: Preparing detailed inspection reports, including non-conformance reports and corrective action plans.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring inspection equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
- Compliance: Ensuring coatings meet project specifications and industry standards, such as those from NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers) and SSPC (The Society for Protective Coatings).
- Collaboration: Working with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address any issues and ensure quality.
- Problem-Solving:



Identifying defects and recommending appropriate corrective actions. Qualifications required
- NACE Level 2 certificate
- H2S Alive
- Standard first aid with out of Province Emergency First Aid
- Common Safety Orientation
- A valid Driver's License and clean 5-year Commercial drivers abstract (provided by the applicant at time of hire)
- All applicable tickets must be up to date
