Job description

- Set up tube bending machines (pines: mandrel based) i.e setting up correct dies and supporting tools for bending, adjusting pressures, make adjustments to controls
- Operate tube bending machines to bend various metal tubes, pipes, solid bars, flat bars etc. to the given specifications as per drawings
- Check bent parts to drawing specifications and tolerances using proper measuring and inspection equipment like Vernier calipers, tape measures & height gauges
- Inspect end product from bending operation to ensure accuracy is maintained
- Complete all required paperwork in a correct and timely manner
- Experience using belt sanders, grinders, drill machines
- Operate cutting saws to cut raw material (Tubes, Pipes, Flat bars etc)
- Must have some lead hand/supervision experience
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations




- Perform other assigned duties as required Skills/Qualifications:
- Must be a Permanent resident or Canadian citizen
- College diploma in Machining/Tool & Die making or equivalent
- Must have strong decision making skills
- Forklift license an asset
- Must be enthusiastic and willing to learn
- Ability to read tape measures and drawings
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment
- Effective and qualified communication skills-verbal and written
- Detailed oriented and ability to multitask
- Time management skills Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour Expected hours: 38.0 per week
