Overview As a Security Guard with InVisionU, you will help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment at various client locations throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) & Greater Golden Horseshoe. You will be responsible for maintaining a professional security presence, monitoring guest activity, managing access control, and responding appropriately to security concerns. We are looking for dependable, professional, and customer-focused individuals who demonstrate robust communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations. Duties
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence at assigned locations.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas to ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, and property.
- Verify identification and manage guest access in accordance with venue policies and applicable regulations.
- Assist with crowd management, guest screening, and access control.
- Observe guest behaviour and identify potential security risks or suspicious activity.
- Respond professionally to disturbances, conflicts, and security-related incidents.
- Apply appropriate conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.
- Enforce venue policies, client instructions, and site-specific security procedures.
- Assist guests, employees, management, and members of the public when required.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and venue management.
- Document incidents, observations, and daily activities through accurate reports.
- Contact emergency services when necessary and follow established emergency procedures.




- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and accountability throughout every assignment. Qualifications Required:
- Valid Ontario Individual Security Guard Licence (mandatory).
- Valid Smart Serve Ontario certification (mandatory).
- Standard First Aid with CPR Level C & AED Certification (mandatory).
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance, attitude, and conduct.
- Good observation skills and sound decision-making abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Availability for day-time, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness to travel to assigned locations throughout the GTA and Hamilton. Preferred:
- Previous security guard experience.
- Experience in event security, restaurants, or hospitality environments.
- Knowledge of crowd management, access control, and conflict de-escalation.
- Reliable transportation. Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 – 60.0 per week Ability to commute/relocate:
- Greater Toronto Area, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:
- Security Guard: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification:
- Ontario Individual Security Guard Licence (required)
- Smart Serve Ontario Full Course Certificate (required)
- Standard First Aid with CPR Level C & AED Certification (required)
