Job Description
We are currently seeking a Part time Night Auditor at Best Western Wainwright Inn & Suites, with the ability to work night shifts (10:00 PM-6:00 AM) Job Duties:
- Welcome guests with professionalism, ensuring a seamless registration process.
- Assist guests during check-out, ensuring all services are accounted for and payments are processed accurately.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, providing accurate information about the hotel, local area, and promotions.
- Resolve guest issues efficiently, utilizing problem-solving skills to ensure satisfaction.
- Utilize up-selling techniques to maximize room occupancy and promote additional hotel services.
- Handle cash transactions, credit cards, and foreign currency with accuracy and compliance with hotel policies.
- Ensure professional financial standards throughout the hotel.
- Review end-of-day takings against logged reports and edit for accuracy.
- Investigate discrepancies between daily reports and takings.
- Audit, post, and balance daily cashiers' float.
- Complete shift task lists,



prioritizing guest service excellence and proactive service recovery.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous hotel-related experience an asset.
- Ability to communicate with public, hotel staff, and management in a professional manner.
- Knowledge of surrounding areas and local events.
- Ability to understand and adhere to proper credit and cash handling policies and procedures.
- Able to properly secure guest information.
- Ability to learn safety, emergency, and accident prevention policies and procedures.
- Skilled in the use of front office equipment.
- Knowledge of proper telephone etiquette.
