Overview Leduc Strathcona Services for Children is seeking a friendly, organize and dependable Family Day Home Consultant to join our team. This position supports Family Day home Educators in providing secure, nurturing, and high-quality child care.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled visit to Family Day Homes.
- Support educators with programming, child development, and professional growth.
- Monitor compliance with Family Day home Standards and Agency Policies.
- Complete safety checks, visit reports, and required documentation.
- Identify concerns and assist with action/remedy plans and follow-up.
- Respond to and document parent or educator concerns and complaints
- Coordinate Inclusive Child Care Supports and community resources when required
- Complete child registrations and manage the childcare licensing portal,



ensuring accurate records, timely updates, and compliance with provincial licensing requirements.
- Maintain positive, professional communication with educators, families and Agency staff.

Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Level 2 or Level 3 ECE Certification
- Knowledge of Alberta Family Day Home Standards is an asset
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Current Level B or C First Aid and Vulnerable Sector Child required
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building is an asset. Pay: $4,500.00-$5,000.00 per month Work
