Marlene's Beauty and Hair Studio is an established beauty and hair salon located inside Wellings of Whitby. Since opening in March, we have been steadily growing and building a loyal clientele by providing quality beauty, hair and esthetic services in a welcoming and professional environment. We are looking for an experienced, motivated and business-minded Spa Manager / Lead Esthetician to oversee daily operations, lead our team and contribute to the continued growth of our business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys providing esthetic services while taking on a leadership role and earning additional income through management compensation. Duties
- Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the salon and spa.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries.
- Manage appointments, bookings and staff schedules.
- Supervise, support and coordinate team members.
- Handle customer concerns and resolve complaints professionally.
- Build strong relationships with clients and encourage repeat business.
- Manage the salon's social media presence and promotional activities.
- Develop ideas and strategies to attract current customers and grow revenue.
- Identify opportunities to expand services and improve business performance.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism.

Qualifications:

- Licensed and experienced esthetician.
- Previous salon, spa or management experience is a must.
- Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable supervising staff and handling customer concerns.
- Knowledge of social media and marketing.
- Self-motivated,



reliable and able to work independently.
- Strong business sense and an interest in growing an established salon. Compensation and Earning Potential: 1. Monthly Management Compensation
- $3,000 per month ($36,000 annually) for managing the salon, plus an annual conditional bonus. 2. Service Commissions and Tips: In addition to management compensation, you will earn:
- 30% commission on services provided to existing Marlene's salon customers.
- 70% commission on services provided to your established clientele that you bring into the salon.
- Tips in addition to your service commissions. 3. Additional Benefits and Perks
