Service Technician – Industrial Compressed Air Systems Commercial Air Compressor | Markham, Ontario Compensation: $30–$45 per hour, based on experience Employment Type: Full time About Commercial Air Compressor Commercial Air Compressor (CAC) is one of Canada's leading Kaeser distributors, proudly serving the industrial and commercial markets since 1992. We specialize in industrial compressed air systems, including rotary screw compressors, oil-free compressors, air treatment, controls, piping and turnkey installations. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Service Technician to join our team. Position Overview The Service Technician will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing industrial compressed air systems at customer facilities throughout the GTA and surrounding Ontario regions. We are looking for someone with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities, excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently in an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections and servicing of industrial air compressors.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and control system issues.
- Diagnose problems with rotary screw compressors, motors, variable frequency drives, sensors and control systems.
- Service and maintain compressed air dryers, filtration systems and related equipment.
- Complete equipment installations,



commissioning and start-ups.
- Identify equipment deficiencies and recommend appropriate repairs or upgrades.
- Complete accurate service reports and communicate findings to customers.
- Provide professional customer service and technical support.
- Participate in emergency service calls and overtime when required.
- Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards. Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial field service, preferably with rotating equipment or industrial machinery.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Experience with electric motors, VFDs, sensors, pneumatic systems and industrial controls.
- Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid Ontario driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations throughout Ontario.
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and working in industrial environments. The following experience would be considered an asset:
- Industrial air compressors, particularly Kaeser equipment.




- Refrigerated and desiccant air dryers.
- Industrial filtration systems.
- PLCs and industrial electrical troubleshooting. Compensation & Benefits
