Description of the Role Place Crete Systems is seeking a dependable and hardworking Part-Time Warehouse Associate to support our warehouse and yard operations during afternoon and evening hours. This position is ideal for a student or an individual seeking part-time employment with the opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced construction and distribution environment. For the right candidate, this role may lead to a full-time position as the company continues to grow. Primary Responsibilities
- Assisting with warehouse and yard operations
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Organizing inventory and storage areas
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
- Supporting shipping and receiving activities
- Assisting other departments as required Warehouse Responsibilities
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments
- Organize and stock materials in designated warehouse locations
- Assist with inventory counts and material tracking
- Prepare materials and equipment for upcoming projects
- Ensure warehouse and yard areas remain clean and organized
- Operate material handling equipment when required Qualifications
- High school student, post-secondary student, or individual seeking part-time employment
- Previous warehouse, yard, shipping, or receiving experience is considered an asset
- Robust work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Forklift experience is considered an asset but is not required Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to work safely around equipment and materials Pay: $25.00 per hour
