We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic behaviour interventionist (BI) with experience working with young children and some knowledge of ABA to run home-based and daycare-based ABA sessions. A Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) will provide training. Currently, we are looking for BI(s) for a team in Coquitlam.

Location:
Coquitlam
- Schedule: 3 sessions per week in the morning, anytime from 9:30
- 2 pm / each session will be 1.5 hour
- Learner: 4 years old
- Focus areas: Expressive and receptive language, social skills, and play skills
- Starting time: ASAP
- Rate: $23-35 per hour based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- The sessions will be at the learner's home; the BI needs to travel to the client's home for the session.
- Implement individualized behaviour programs focused on language development, cognitive skills, following instructions and schedules, and social skills
- Collect and record session data accurately
- Participate in scheduled team meetings
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English
- Experience working with young children, particularly those with autism
- Knowledge of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) principles is preferred
- Educational background or current studies in Psychology, Special Education, Early Childhood Education,
or Speech-Language Pathology are considered strong assets
