We are a custom machine shop that has been running for 40 years and we are looking for a general machinist to join our team. You would be expected to operate manual mills and lathes and other basic shop equipment. An interest in learning to run CNC machinery would be an asset. Position is full time, Monday to Friday 8am-5pm. Key Responsibilities

- Perform your own set-ups, tool selection and operate manual lathes and mills
- Read and follow detailed/engineered drawings
- Maintain high tolerances and perform quality checks using precision measuring tools
- Maintain clean, organized work area

Qualifications:

- Shop experience running manual machines such as lathes and mills
- Reliability: robust work ethic and ability to work independently
- Attention to detail: ensure that your work meets the required measurements and tolerances Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
