Job Overview

What you'll do
- Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
- Assist with protected walking, transfers and positioning
- Prepare meals and help clients eat
- Give friendly companionship and join clients in activities and outings
- Support clients living with memory challenges and dementia
- Remind clients when it is time to take their medication
- Keep the home tidy with light housekeeping and making beds
- Accompany clients to appointments
- Notice changes in a client's health or mood and report them to our office and family
- Stay calm in an emergency and call for help What we're looking for:
- HCA certificate or equivalent training preferred
- Experience in memory and dementia care is an asset
- A caring, patient, and dependable approach to working with seniors ,
