About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Sand Truck Operator & General Laborer to join our winter maintenance team. In this role, you will operate a sanding truck to treat commercial properties and parking lots before businesses open. When sanding is not actively required, you will assist with general laborer duties and site maintenance to support our winter operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely and efficiently operate a sanding truck to spread sand, salt, and ice-melt compounds across commercial lots, access roads, and pedestrian routes.
- Complete early morning routes to ensure all designated properties are safe and clear of ice before business hours.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections to maintain safety and equipment reliability.
- Identify and avoid on-site hazards (curbs, light standards, fire hydrants, parked vehicles) in low-visibility conditions.
- Perform general winter laborer duties, site cleanup,



and property maintenance as assigned when sanding is not needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines, property protocols, and site specifications. Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Clean Class 5 Driver’s License (Required).
- Experience operating a sanding truck or similar medium-duty equipment is ideal (snow removal experience is a strong asset).
- Ability to work early morning shifts on short notice based on weather conditions.
- Ability to perform physically demanding labor (lifting, bending, shoveling) in cold, variable winter weather.
