Job Description
As a Cashier at Pennywell Convenience, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers. You’ll handle payments, help with order taking (especially for our pizza/call ahead orders), and assist with customer inquiries with a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service
- Take and process orders for pizza, hot foods and general store items
- Handle cash, debit/credit transactions, issue receipts, make change accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of checkout area
- Assist with restocking, shelf‑tidying, and light cleaning when needed
- Help with closing or opening tasks as required Qualifications
- Previous cashier or customer‑service experience an asset, but not strictly required
- Basic math skills and accuracy in handling money
- Friendly, reliable, punctual, professional
- Able to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends
