About Us
Wellbeing Wonders Treatment Centre is a multidisciplinary therapy centre dedicated to supporting children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related developmental needs. Our team provides individualized, evidence-based services in a collaborative, supportive, and family-centred environment focused on helping each child build confidence, communication, and independence. Position Summary We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist / Speech Therapist to join our team as an independent contractor. The successful candidate will provide services both within our centre and in clients’ homes, supporting children and youth with communication, language, social interaction, and speech development goals. The ideal candidate is collaborative, engaging, and passionate about helping children develop meaningful communication skills in a supportive and individualized manner. Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide 1:1 therapy sessions in-centre and in-home tailored to each child’s communication needs
- Support the development of expressive and receptive language, articulation, social communication, play skills, and functional communication
- Implement evidence-based intervention strategies appropriate for children with ASD and developmental needs
- Collaborate with families, ABA therapists, and other clinical professionals to support consistent programming




- Provide caregiver coaching and communication strategies for use at home
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, treatment notes, and progress reports
- Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration and case discussions as needed Qualifications
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
- Experience working with children with ASD or developmental needs is considered an asset
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred for in-home services
- Commitment to family-centred and evidence-based care

Job Type
