Canada Notary is hiring a full-time Notary Public for our downtown Barrie office at 49 High St. Canada Notary has served over 150,000 clients since 2015 and has 18 locations across Ontario, offering notary, commissioning, apostille and translation services. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm (in office) Pay: $20 per hour, paid gross as an independent contractor (no deductions), plus commission opportunities Start: As soon as possible Earn more with paralegal files: We work alongside a paralegal legal services firm. If you are a licensed paralegal with the Law Society of Ontario, you'll have the opportunity to work on paralegal files as an agent and earn additional commission pay on top of your hourly rate.

What you'll do
- Notarize and commission documents for walk-in and booked clients (affidavits, statutory declarations, travel consent letters, certified true copies, etc.)
- Verify client identification and keep accurate records of every notarization
- Greet clients, answer questions and explain the process clearly and professionally
- Take payments and keep the office organized What you need:




- A current appointment as a Notary Public in Ontario (required)
- Must be available to work in office Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm
- Excellent English communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual and detail-oriented
- Paralegal licence (LSO) is a robust asset; additional languages are an asset Why you'll like it:
