Part-Time, with the opportunity to transition into Full-Time Schedule: Starting at approximately 4 days per week, including Friday and Saturday evenings. Job Summary Kings Janitorial is looking for an experienced, reliable, and motivated Team Lead Cleaner to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has robust attention to detail, and is comfortable leading and training other employees. This is a hands-on position that involves cleaning, training staff, overseeing cleaning quality, and ensuring our clients' expectations are met. The ideal candidate will have previous commercial cleaning experience, strong communication skills, basic computer knowledge, and the flexibility to work evenings and weekends. This position will begin as part-time, approximately four days per week, with the potential to grow into a full-time. Responsibilities
- Perform daily commercial cleaning duties while maintaining high cleaning standards.
- Lead, support, and train cleaning staff on proper cleaning procedures and site expectations.
- Operate commercial cleaning equipment, including auto scrubbers.
- Complete site inspections and ensure cleaning tasks are being performed properly.
- Communicate with employees, management, and clients regarding cleaning concerns, supply requests, and site issues.
- Assist with scheduling, staff coverage, and training when needed.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within the designated timeframes.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment and request replenishment when necessary.
- Follow WHMIS guidelines and all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Complete daily reports, inspection forms, and other required documentation.
- Address cleaning concerns professionally and help employees improve their performance.




- Work independently and as part of a team to ensure our sites are maintained to company standards. Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of commercial cleaning or custodial experience required.
- Previous experience operating an auto scrubber required.
- WHMIS certification required.
- Must have or be willing to obtain steel-toe safety footwear.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable personal vehicle required.
- Clean driver's abstract.
- Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check.
- Basic computer skills, including email, mobile applications, and completing reports.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to perform physically demanding cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Must be available to work Friday and Saturday evenings, with flexibility for other weekday evenings and weekends.
- Must be comfortable training and providing direction to other employees. Assets:
- Previous team lead, supervisory, or management experience.
- First Aid certification.
- Experience conducting cleaning inspections and training recent employees.
