Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and reliable Fire Alarm Installer Helper to assist our technicians with the installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire alarm systems at commercial, industrial, and residential properties. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced technicians and help ensure that fire alarm systems are installed and maintained safely and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in developing a career in the fire protection industry. Responsibilities
- Assist fire alarm technicians with the installation of fire alarm systems and related equipment.
- Help install fire alarm devices, including smoke detectors, heat detectors, pull stations, horns, strobes, and other components.
- Assist with running, pulling, and securing electrical wiring and cables.
- Help install conduit, cable trays, and other supporting materials.
- Assist with routine inspection, testing, maintenance, and servicing of fire alarm systems.
- Carry tools, equipment, and materials to job sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Assist technicians with troubleshooting and identifying basic system issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or lead technician.
- On-call on a rotational basis Experience
- Full CFAA certification




- Previous experience in fire alarm installation or the electrical industry is an asset
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physically capable of performing job-related tasks, including lifting materials and working on ladders.
- Must be comfortable working on ladders frequently and for extended periods, including climbing and performing installation and maintenance tasks at various heights.
