Located at The Forks, SMITH is a contemporary restaurant focused on quality ingredients, thoughtful dishes, and an exceptional dining experience. This is a great opportunity for a cook who enjoys a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of a professional culinary team—while working a consistent daytime schedule.

What you'll do

- Prepare and cook menu items to recipe and chef specifications.
- Maintain high standards for food quality, flavour, presentation, and consistency.
- Take ownership of your assigned station and keep it organized, clean, and service-ready.
- Work closely with the Chef and culinary team to deliver smooth, timely service.
- Stay focused and organized during busy periods while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, storage, and kitchen procedures.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented kitchen environment. What we're looking for




- 3+ years of culinary experience, preferably in a busy restaurant, hotel, or similar kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a high-volume kitchen.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation.
- Reliable, hardworking, and positive attitude.
- Robust communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow recipes, procedures, and direction while also taking ownership of your station. Why SMITH?
