Finance Manager STURGEON FALLS, ONTARIO Permanent, full-time $85,000

Quality Care Solutions is recruiting a Finance Manager on behalf of a long-term care home in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario. We are looking for an experienced finance skilled who can lead day-to-day financial operations, support sound financial decisions, and work closely with the leadership team. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to an organization serving seniors and the local community.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee financial operations, including accounting, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll oversight.
- Prepare budgets, financial statements, forecasts, and management reports.
- Monitor spending, cash flow, and financial performance.
- Explain financial results and provide practical recommendations to leadership.
- Coordinate year-end activities and support external audits.
- Maintain accurate records, internal controls, and financial procedures.
- Support funding reports and applicable reporting requirements.
- Work with department leaders to plan and manage their budgets. Qualifications
- Postsecondary education in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Progressive accounting and financial management experience.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, forecasting, and internal controls.




- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and handle confidential information with discretion.
- CPA designation, or progress toward one, is an asset.
- Experience in long-term care, healthcare, or a publicly funded organization is an asset.
- Bilingual communication skills in English and French are an asset. Location This position is based in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario. Applicants should be able to work on site or be willing to relocate.
