Steady daytime hours in downtown Hamilton, with weekends off. We're hiring a friendly, dependable cleaner for a condominium building on James Street North in downtown Hamilton. We're looking for someone strong and reliable who takes pride in keeping a building clean and welcoming, and who doesn't mind hands-on work on garbage days. Pay: Starting at $19.00/hr Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM (about 25 hours a week)

What you'll do

- Clean lobbies, hallways, stairwells, elevators and amenity rooms
- Garbage days every Monday and Thursday: move the compactor bin and the garbage and recycling bins out for pickup and back in. We provide a machine to help pull the compactor bin.
- Keep the garbage and recycling rooms clean and organized
- Keep entrances and common areas tidy and welcoming
- Greet residents with a friendly, helpful attitude. You'll be a familiar face in the building.
- Report building issues to our Building Support team
- Follow a set checklist and finish on time each day What you need
- Availability every weekday morning, Monday to Friday. Mondays and Thursdays are a must because they're garbage days.




- The strength and stamina for physical work: walking, bending, lifting, and moving heavy bins with equipment
- A friendly, professional manner with residents, and enough English to communicate with them
- A smartphone with data (we use an app for scheduling, clocking in and training)
- A clean police record Nice to have
- Previous cleaning, custodial or building maintenance experience
- Experience handling garbage, compactors or heavy bins
- Living in or near downtown Hamilton. The building is easy to reach by HSR bus, so a car isn't required. Why work with us We're a local cleaning company that works closely with its team.
