NEEDING 1. BEHAVIOURAL THERAPIST
- experienced with behavioral strategies, emotional and sensory regulation , visual schedules/task lists, supports for trauma, NVI trained. Driving is a must with you own car. Looking for Wed weekday and evenings. Working with children and teens. Pay structure is 70 BDS to 90 depending what agreement type the family is on. 2. Speech Therapist: Need to be experienced working with non verbal children using gestures, AAC, and building functional communication. You need to be comfortable with sensory regulation and expanding feeding. This a driving position and you need your own car. This role is vital in delivering tailored therapeutic interventions to our diverse clientele, helping them reach their full potential. The position is based in Edmonton and area. You need to have your own car and be comfortable driving for visits. The Behavioral therapist position is requires one weekday commitment for a wed or Friday and weekday evening times. - Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for children and teens
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and data collection.
- Support clients in achieving behavioral goals through evidence-based techniques.

- You need to be comfortable working with individuals with sensory and emotional regulation challenges that impact behavior.
- You need extensive experience working with supporting individuals and families with strategies to reduce behaviors for BT and increase functional communication for SLP that interfere with daily function. As well as support strategies for play, focus to task ect.
- Qualifications you must have direct experience as a behavioral therapist with children 2 to 16 years old.
- You need to be comfortable with sensory regulation strategies along with behavioral
- You need to have direct experience working with individuals on the spectrum and with other diagnosis that can affect behaviors'
- Knowledge of special education principles.
- Strong understanding of data collection methods.
- Excellent communication skills with clients and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. English must be clear for both written and verbal.
- Certification or licensure as a Behavioral Therapist or equivalent or Speech Therapist

- You need to be physical fit.
- Milage is not covered; however, you would go to the child's home or community place 1 hr home visit and also receive 0.5 to cover preparation-travel-documentation.
