This legal counsel position leads FortisBC’s privacy management program and serves within the legal department. You will advise on privacy, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and data governance. The work also supports contracts for the Information Systems business unit and regulatory requirements. Bachelor of Law or Juris Doctor degree Eight years of post-call corporate legal experience Positive standing membership with the Law Society of B.C. Three years of compliance or privacy experience Cybersecurity, data governance, and records management understanding Apply legal judgment, privacy expertise, and regulatory knowledge while strengthening FortisBC’s information governance and compliance practices.
