Lead private equity transactions in Toronto with BMO Capital Partners, applying solid valuation, due diligence, and negotiation expertise. Work alongside investment professionals and BMO partners. As Director, you will lead new investment opportunities from origination through closing across fund investments, direct equity, and subordinated debt. You will support Managing Directors with client coverage and mentor associates evaluating investments and monitoring portfolios. The position serves North American middle-market companies across growth stages. Key Responsibilities:

Lead transaction evaluation, structuring, due diligence, negotiation,



and closing Present opportunities to Investment Committee and defend quarterly valuations Review and negotiate legal documentation for investments Monitor portfolio companies and maintain management relationships Develop networks across private equity, growth equity, and venture capital Requirements:

Seven or more years in investment banking, private equity, or related areas Solid understanding of capital structure and principal investing Very strong analytical skills and independent transaction leadership Ability to navigate industries and private-company financing needs CFA, CPA, CA, CBV, or MBA considered an asset Bring transaction leadership, investment analysis, and relationship development to BMO Capital Partners’ Toronto investment team.
