Lead workplace safety across a food manufacturing facility at J&J; Snack Foods, applying Cal/OSHA knowledge and incident investigation skills. The Safety Supervisor maintains visible plant oversight and supports programs protecting employees and operations. This position conducts inspections, investigates incidents, and helps ensure federal, state, local, and corporate safety requirements. Experience in food or industrial manufacturing is required. Key Responsibilities:
Monitor workplace safety practices throughout the plant Conduct inspections, observations, and hazard assessments Investigate incidents, injuries, near misses, and property damage Support safety programs, emergency drills, and evacuation procedures Maintain safety records, training records, and EHS documentation Requirements:
Three or more years of manufacturing safety experience Working knowledge of Cal/OSHA and workplace safety requirements Experience conducting inspections, training, and incident investigations High school diploma or equivalent required Proficient Word, Excel, and PowerPoint computer skills Apply safety leadership, hazard recognition, and documentation skills to support J&J; Snack Foods facility compliance.
