Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable Private Caregiver to provide personalized support to an individual in a home setting. The caregiver will help promote comfort, dignity, safety, and independence while adapting care to the individual’s needs and preferences. Training provided.

Duties

- Provide attentive patient care and companionship, respecting the individual’s privacy, routines, and choices.
- Assist with activities of daily living, mobility, and personal care as appropriate to the care plan.
- Support medication administration only as authorized and in accordance with applicable training, care instructions, and regulations.
- Prepare meals and assist with eating as needed, following dietary guidance.
- Perform light cleaning and help maintain a safe, tidy home workplace.
- Observe and communicate changes in the individual’s condition or needs to the appropriate care contacts.




- Use safe techniques when assisting with mobility or heavy lifting; request assistance or use equipment when needed.
- Provide patient, respectful support tailored to the individual, including those living with dementia or disabilities.

Qualifications

- Previous caregiving, home care, or patient care experience preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with meal preparation, cleaning, and medication administration is beneficial.
- Ability to follow care instructions, communicate clearly, and maintain confidentiality.
- Able to assist with physical tasks, including mobility support and heavy lifting when required, using safe practices.
- Compassionate, reliable, attentive, and respectful of each individual’s dignity and independence.

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 per week
