Lead major gifts strategy at The Royal Conservatory in Toronto, using donor development and fundraising leadership in a hybrid work arrangement.

The Director, Individual Giving provides strategic and operational leadership for RCM’s leadership giving program. Reporting to the Managing Director, Development, this senior leader translates integrated strategy into a focused major gifts plan. The position aligns portfolios, donor strategies, team priorities, pipeline development, and revenue forecasting with institutional objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement annual major gifts plans
- Lead, coach, and manage two individual giving staff
- Oversee donor pipeline health, movement, and portfolio assignments




- Manage complex donor relationships and solicitation strategies
- Forecast revenue and report performance using donor data

Requirements:

- Minimum seven years of progressively responsible fundraising experience
- Success securing major gifts of $25,000 and above
- Experience leading programs, portfolios, pipelines, and forecasts
- Proficiency with Raiser’s Edge and Microsoft 365
- University degree or equivalent relevant experience
