Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Snowflake Engineer with strong hands‑on experience in Snowflake development, data warehousing, SQL, and ETL/ELT processes. The ideal candidate should have experience designing, developing, optimizing, and validating data solutions using Snowflake.

Candidates must also have hands‑on experience with Snowflake testing, data validation, source‑to‑target reconciliation, and troubleshooting data‑related issues.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions using Snowflake.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data transformations.
- Work on data warehouse development, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data integration processes.
- Perform data validation, source‑to‑target reconciliation, and data integrity checks.
- Conduct Snowflake testing to validate data transformations, migration, and business logic.
- Identify and troubleshoot data discrepancies, performance issues, and pipeline failures.
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing of Snowflake data solutions.
- Optimize Snowflake queries, warehouse utilization, and overall data processing performance.
- Collaborate with data engineers, developers, business analysts, and QA teams.
- Prepare technical documentation, test scenarios, validation reports, and defect documentation.





Required Skills

- 10–13+ years of overall IT experience.
- Strong hands‑on experience in Snowflake development and data warehousing.
- Excellent SQL skills, including joins, subqueries, CTEs, aggregations, and window functions.
- Experience with ETL/ELT development and data pipeline integration.
- Hands‑on experience with Snowflake testing, data validation, and source‑to‑target reconciliation.
- Experience in data migration, data transformation, and data quality validation.
- Knowledge of Snowflake architecture, virtual warehouses, stages, streams, and tasks.
- Experience in debugging, performance optimization, and root‑cause analysis.Strong understanding of database testing and data warehouse concepts.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Python scripting for data validation and automation.
- Knowledge of cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Matillion, dbt, or Talend.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
- Experience working in large‑scale enterprise data warehouse environments.
