Lead high-voltage overhead line design for CIMA+ from anywhere in Canada, using PLS-CADD and structural engineering expertise in a hybrid mode. As a Senior Overhead Transmission Lines Engineer, you will direct complex engineering projects under the T&D; Lines Leadership Team. Your work covers overhead lines from 60kV to 500kV, structures, foundations, and multidisciplinary design criteria. You will support major infrastructure projects across Canada.
Key Responsibilities
Lead project design teams including junior and intermediate staff Design high-voltage overhead lines and associated facilities Design wood, steel, and lattice transmission structures Develop foundations, hardware assemblies, and structural details Provide technical assistance,
construction support, and field reviews
Requirements:
University degree in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering Minimum fifteen years’ experience or over ten years certified Professional engineering registration or eligibility in Canada Proficiency with PLS-CADD suite and CAD systems Required construction or field work experience Apply your transmission line, structural design, PLS-CADD, and engineering leadership expertise to complex CIMA+ projects across Canada.
