Canada

About Teangle We built a matcha brand that Quebec loves. Now we're taking it across Canada, fast, and we're looking for the person who will lead that. Teangle started in 2017 as a direct-to-consumer brand. Our Matcha Collagen line became the favourite of a loyal community we call the TeangleFam, and in just over a year we went from online-only to hundreds of retail doors across Quebec: Sobeys/IGA, Rachelle Béry, Metro, TAU, Shop Santé and Avril. We outperform our competitors in the category, retail roughly doubled this year, and we've started into Ontario with Goodness Me and Well.ca. Next: 800–1,000+ new doors in 2027, starting with our launch across the rest of Canada this spring. We're a multiple-seven-figure brand, most of our business is still online, and we've done every retail deal direct so far with a small, lean team. We're now onboarding our first distributor and broker. This is the moment to get in early and build what comes next. A word from the CEO. I've been building Teangle since 2017, largely on my own. The company is small, founder-led and moves fast, and this hire will own sales end to end. You'll work directly with me, with real room to decide. If you're looking for a structured corporate sales department, this isn't it. If you want to build one, keep reading. What you'll own You'll start as our sole sales lead, managing our broker, distributor, merchandising and demo partners, and build the internal team as we scale.
• Our existing accounts: the relationships with the Quebec banners that got us here, and the velocity in those doors
• The retail strategy: which banners, regions and formats, in what order, and why
• The forecast: a velocity-based plan by banner and channel that you build, defend and deliver
• Our partners: finish onboarding the new distributor and broker, then run them and our merchandising and demo partners on clear KPIs
• Key accounts: presentations and negotiations with national and regional category managers, including Costco Canada,

which is on our 2027 map
• Sell-through, not just sell-in: promo calendars, trade spend and in-store execution that move product off the shelf. Every promo, display and LTO gets measured; what pays back stays
• The rest-of-Canada launch: starting this spring
• The team: build the sales organization underneath the plan as we grow What you bring
• A track record: you've taken a CPG brand from regional to national in Canada, and you can show the numbers
• Buyer relationships: you've negotiated directly with category managers at banners like Sobeys, Loblaw, Metro, Shoppers/Jean Coutu, Healthy Planet or Nature's Emporium. Costco Canada experience (roadshows, item programs or permanent listings) is a big plus
• Partner management: you've run brokers, distributors and merchandisers, and held them accountable
• Forecasting: you build forecasts and trade-spend plans from velocity and doors, not "gut feel"
• An omnichannel head: you know how to grow retail without cannibalizing direct-to-consumer, and how to use online data and community to win buyers
• Operations literacy: lead times, co-manufacturer capacity, case packs, 3PL, EDI and retailer compliance are not foreign to you
• Category knowledge: matcha and tea, natural health and supplements
• Both languages: fluent French and English, comfortable negotiating in both. English is required to manage our partners and accounts outside Quebec How you work
• You own the pipeline. Brokers and distributors execute; you set the rhythm, review the numbers and hold every partner to them.
• You build from zero.

No ready-made retail department, no analyst team. You set up what's needed and get moving.
• You sell with data. POS data, our online sales and our community are how you win buyers and spot problems early.
• You sequence growth to protect the brand. You know which channels to win first, which to hold, and why a fast listing in the wrong place can hurt us.
• You know price, margin and cash before you sign. Distributor, broker and retailer margins, free-fills, payment terms and supply lead times are worked out before a deal, not after.
• You grow region by region, hand in hand with marketing, so new doors build velocity and stay on shelf.
• You stay calm when a negotiation gets tough, and you adjust fast when the data says so.

What we offer
• Competitive base salary
• A solid performance bonus tied to retail growth, sell-through and results you control, with accelerators when you beat the plan
• A long-term incentive tied to building the business over the coming years
• Real ownership: your strategy, your partners, your team to build
• Direct access to the CEO and a rapid-moving, founder-led brand
• 4 weeks of vacation, hybrid flexibility, and plenty of TEANGLE Where you'll be We're a remote-first team with no office to commute to. You can be based in Quebec or Ontario: Montreal, Quebec City or the Greater Toronto Area all work. The leadership team is based in Quebec, and we meet in person at least once a month, in Quebec City or Montreal, for planning and account reviews. We travel to you as easily as you travel to us. On top of that, expect regular travel across Canada for key account meetings, trade shows, and broker and distributor reviews.

How to apply
Send your CV to [email protected] with a short note (6–10 lines max) answering one question: tell us about a brand you helped take from regional to national. What did you do, and what were the results?
