Job Description
The resource for the position will need to have established skills in the following areas:

• Experience with VMware setting upgrade to VCF 9.x (Required)
• VMware Architecture, Design, and Implementation experience (Required)
• Experience with workload migration to VCF 9.x (Required)
• VMware stack experience with: SRM, NSX-T, vSphere, vSAN, vLCM (Required)
• Lead VMware DR and High Availiability testing including SRM, vShere Replication (Desired)

• VMware professional training (Desired)
• VCP-DCV (Data Center Virtualization / vSphere)
• VCP-NV (Network Virtualization / NSX)
• VCP-TKG (Tanzu Kubernetes Grid) We are looking for an experienced VMware Implementer with expertise performing VMware upgrades.
This role requires a technical architect/implementator with experience planning and implementing VMware upgrades from vSphere 8 to VCF 9.x spanning multiple data centres in Canada and the US. In relation to these initiatives and some operational requirements we require an Infrastructure Architect/Implementer to assist with our VMware design and upgrade implementation.
The accountabilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
• Work with an established team of solution architects to plan and execute an existing VMware environment upgrade to 9.x.
• Provide input to the IS Infrastructure project deliverables (schedules, test plans, test results, implementation plans, transition to operations, processes/procedures) and other documents as needed
• Developing, implementing and reviewing the support processes to ensure compliance to policies, standards and regulatory requirements and to ensure mitigation of risk.
