We are currently seeking an Order Picker + Back-up Driver at our Victoria location, part of our Purity Life Grocery division. Position Summary This dual-role position is primarily responsible for warehouse order picking with additional responsibilities as a relief 5-ton delivery driver when required. The successful candidate must be flexible, safety-conscious, and willing to support both warehouse and delivery operations based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
• Accurately pick customer orders using pick lists and scanning equipment.
• Build and stage pallets safely for shipping, following product rotation and inventory procedures.
• Maintain established productivity and accuracy standards.
• Assist with inventory counts.
• Safely operate authorized warehouse equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.




• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned. Relief 5-Ton Delivery Driver
• Operate a 5-ton delivery truck throughout Greater Victoria and surrounding areas as required.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure loads are properly secured.
• Deliver customer orders safely, accurately, and professionally.
• Complete delivery documentation and report discrepancies or concerns.
• Safely operate pallet jacks and other delivery equipment.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel levels, and DEF fluid.
• Follow all company transportation and safety procedures. Qualifications & Requirements
• Valid BC Class 5 driver's licence with a satisfactory driver's abstract.
• Ability to safely operate a 5-ton delivery truck.
• Ability to lift and handle products weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Robust organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Flexibility to perform both warehouse and delivery duties as operationally required. Scheduling & Compensation This position has two hourly rates based on assigned duties:
• Warehouse duties: $20.00 per hour.
• 5-ton delivery driving duties: $24.00 per hour, including required vehicle inspections, loading, deliveries, and related driving responsibilities. The employee will primarily perform warehouse duties and will be assigned delivery driving responsibilities as needed. Upon completion of driving duties, the employee will return to order picking duties at the order picker rate. All hours must be accurately recorded according to the duties performed.
