Bayshore Medical Personnel is seeking a part time Dental Assistant with a minimum of 6 months within the last 2 years of cumulative clinical experience to provide services to our federal client in Warkworth, ON. Hourly Compensation Range: $45-50. TASKS
• Prepare the treatment area, cleans and sterilizes instruments, assist chairside, prepare restorative materials
• Records data as directed
• Give oral health education
• Assessing emergency situations, being aware of, and able to implement, emergency protocols, being able to provide First Aid and CPR
• Conducting spore/biological indicator tests
• Obtaining vital signs
• Monitor supplies QUALIFICATIONS The Dental Assistant must possess:
• A license by the appropriate governing body for the province where services will be provided.
• Minimum of six (6) months experience as a dental assistant providing intra-oral care within the last two (2) years. *
