Licensed LPN under BCCNM follow LPN scope of practice
• Assess residents' health status and monitor changes in condition.
• Provide nursing care according to individualized care plans.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as required.
• Promote residents' dignity, privacy, comfort, and independence.
• Monitor vital signs and report abnormal findings.
• Current LPN registration and licensure in British Columbia.
• Graduate of an approved Practical Nursing program.
• Current CPR certification as required by the employer.
• Knowledge of geriatric nursing and dementia care.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of medication administration, wound care, and infection control.
