The work combines property loss prevention, fire protection, natural hazard evaluation, and business interruption analysis. You will support underwriters, brokers, insureds, and claims professionals with clear engineering opinions and practical recommendations.Key Responsibilities:
Develop strong understanding of assigned operations, equipment, exposures, and controlsManage engineering assessments, technical reviews, risk changes,
and information gapsConduct property assessments across industrial and renewable energy facilitiesEvaluate hazards, fire protection, critical equipment, and business interruption potentialPresent findings and recommendations to stakeholders and decision-making panelsRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Fire ScienceAt least 12 years of relevant skilled experiencePrevious insurance industry experience is requiredKnowledge of property loss prevention and industrial risk managementAbility to travel throughout North America for site visitsBring senior property risk engineering, communication, and loss prevention expertise to HSB Canada’s North American account assessments.
