Commercial Counsel at Mecka AI will negotiate data licensing and technology agreements while protecting data ownership and managing contract risk.This counsel role supports Mecka AI’s robotics and embodied AI infrastructure. You will advise AI customers, capture partners, BPO vendors, and enterprise partners. The work covers dataset licensing, vendor contracts, partnership agreements, and approved negotiation positions. You will also help commercial teams close routine deals efficiently.Key Responsibilities:
Draft and negotiate data licensing agreements with AI customersNegotiate capture partnership, BPO, vendor, and software contractsBuild standard agreements, playbooks,



and approval matricesProtect ownership and control vendor use of collected dataAdvise commercial teams on deal structure and risk allocationRequirements:
Law degree and admission to practice in one jurisdictionFive to eight or more years of commercial practiceTransactional experience at a high growth companyExperience negotiating customer, technology, vendor, and partnership agreementsAbility to advise and train commercial teams independentlyBring commercial contracting, data licensing, and risk allocation experience to Mecka AI’s robotics-focused legal team.
