Eastern Swine Production, specificallyOlymel s.E.C. (also known as F. Ménard), is seeking severalemployees interested in participating in swine production whileensuring compliance with the highest standards of the porkindustry. This includes implementing appropriate livestockmanagement practices and adhering to animal welfarestandards. FarmDuties Conduct daily inspections of the animals, barns, andproduction equipment to ensure the farm operates efficiently andsafely;
Feed and water the animals;
Provide basic animal care;
Perform minor maintenance on equipment and farmfacilities, including cleaning and washing duties;
Follow and apply animal-related programs andprotocols, including biosecurity, animal welfare, and herdmanagement practices;
Assist the Animal CareTechnician with various farmtasks, including: Farrowing Department (MaternityUnit): Prepare farrowing rooms;
Dock piglets’ tails and administer ironinjections;
Gestation Department (BreedingUnit): Detect sows in heat (estrus);
Verify and monitor pregnancy status ofsows;
Finishing Department: ~ Perform daily herd care and monitoringactivities;
~ Carry out any other related duties asassigned. CandidateProfile Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliablevehicle required;
