Provide direct client care at Prairie Mountain Health's Hamiota Health Centre, supporting daily living, independence, and changing needs across long term care. Days and evenings are anticipated for this 0.70 FTE position.

As a Health Care Aide, you will work under the team leader within established standards, policies, and procedures. The role supports residents at Birch Lodge Personal Care Home through individualized care plans, documentation, personal hygiene assistance, mobility support, and communication about changes. Organizational skills, independent judgment, communication, flexibility, confidentiality, and cultural respect are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with daily living, hygiene, elimination, mobility, and meals
- Follow care plans and report client changes to team leaders
- Document observations, care,



measurements, and results accurately
- Apply safety, infection prevention, and equipment procedures
- Support admissions, transfers, discharges, and leisure activities

Requirements:

- Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized program
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Training
- Organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Communication skills, flexibility, and independent judgment
- Ability to respect confidentiality and cultural diversity
