This Senior Mechanical Designer develops heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and low-carbon energy systems. You will perform engineering calculations, prepare drawings and specifications, and coordinate requirements with project partners. The position also includes supervising Junior and Intermediate Designers and contributing to client-ready submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop heating, cooling, and ventilation load calculations
- Prepare mechanical and plumbing layouts through final design
- Confirm equipment and motorlist selections using procedures
- Review specifications,



shop drawings, RFIs, and changes
- Supervise designers and maintain robust client relations

Requirements:

- Five-plus years of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design
- Mechanical Engineering university degree or technology diploma
- Ability to read architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings
- Accurate site survey and schematic design experience
- LEED or Passive House accreditation is an asset
