The position supports on-farm programs, preventative herd health, and contemporary cattle health practices with increasing autonomy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-farm health programs across Southern Alberta
- Lead herd health initiatives and field service projects
- Assist veterinarians across bovine medicine services
- Record and process farm data for clients
- Build lasting producer relationships and drive education
Requirements:
- Animal Health Technology degree or diploma
- Registered Veterinary Technician licensure with Alberta Veterinary Medical Association
- Strong communication and proactive problem-solving skills
- Passion for bovine medicine
- Valid full Class 5 Driver's License and abstract
