Our client is seeking an experienced Injection Mould Technician to join their manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with injection moulding machines, mould changes, machine setup, troubleshooting, process optimization, and quality control.

Job Summary:The skill set, and knowledge required to change / set-up molds and inserts from machine shut down, to start up, with an optimized process producing a quality approved product. Proficiency inall duties of a level 1& 2 Operator with a greater awareness of all plant operations, equipment, and quality control processes.

1. The skill set and ability to safely change and set up a mold on an Injection Molding machine.

2. The skill set and ability to safely change and set up inserts in a mold base on an Injection Molding machine.

3. To safely clean and service mold bases, mold inserts and change all related mold parts.

4. To safely shut down and start up any of the Injection Molding Machines.

5. The ability and skill set to trouble shoot injection molding processing issues, ensuring Quality Approved fittings are produced at all times.

6. To start up, shut down and trouble shoot safely, all auxiliary equipment such as: Chillers, Compressors, Material Driers,



Hopper loaders, Temperature Controllers, Oil and water thermolators.

7. Process monitoring of the machines and auxiliary equipment via the I-Pad.

8. Responsible for working closely with the Shift Supervisor & Plant Manager to identify and rectify quality related product issues.

9. The ability to comfortably lead a shift in the absence of a Shift Supervisor.

10. Responsible for verifying and confirming that the correct material is being used to produce the required products, as per the respective work orders.

11. Inspects the Injection Molded products following first run production of current items. Repeats inspection procedure until products meet the required quality standards/ specifications.

12. Works closely with the quality control technician when required and to assist with other forms of QA testing not performed on shift.

13. To perform all other related duties as requested by the Plant / Operations Manager.

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

- Georgetown, ON L7G 4R7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

- Injection Mould Technician: 1 year (preferred)
