Job Summary

Home Support Workers assist people with everyday activities in their homes, supporting comfort, dignity, and independence. The role combines personal care with practical household help, tailored to each person’s needs and preferences.

Responsibilities

- Provide patient care and senior care, including respectful support for daily routines and personal needs.
- Assist with meal preparation, cleaning, and other home care tasks while maintaining a safe, comfortable environment.
- Support medication administration according to established care instructions, and communicate relevant observations to the care team.
- Adapt caregiving approaches for people living with dementia, disabilities, or hospice care needs. Your impact: dependable support helps individuals remain comfortable and enables colleagues to coordinate care.

Qualifications





Required: Practical caregiving skills, patience, clear communication, and the ability to assist with daily care, household tasks, and secure movement, including heavy lifting when needed. Preferred: Experience in home care, assisted living, nursing homes, nursing, patient care, senior care, hospice care, dementia care, or supporting individuals with disabilities; meal preparation, cleaning, and medication administration experience are also valuable.
