Summary

As a Kennel Assistant, you will be essential in providing high-quality care for animals in a kennel environment. Reporting to the Kennel Manager, your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the cleanliness of the facility, feeding the animals, and assisting with customer service inquiries. Your core skills in customer service, cleaning and heavy lifting will be vital in creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere for both pets and their owners. We require morning, day and evening shifts, so student hours don't work out that well.

Responsibilities

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding pet care.
- Assist in the daily care of animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising them.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks, such as moving pet supplies and cleaning equipment.




- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kennel environment to ensure a secure space for animals.
- Monitor the health and behavior of pets and report any concerns to the supervisor.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with pet owners and address their needs.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks related to animal care.
- Experience in handling and caring for animals in a kennel or similar environment is preferred.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for pets.
