Duties

- Greet customers warmly upon arrival, listen to their concerns, and accurately document vehicle issues to facilitate efficient service.
- Explain repair and maintenance options clearly, providing detailed auto estimates and service writing that meet dealership standards.
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmission work, suspension, alignments, tire services, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body repairs.
- Upsell additional services by identifying customer needs and explaining advantages to enhance vehicle safety and performance.
- Manage cash handling transactions accurately while maintaining detailed records of all service orders and customer interactions.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and promote ongoing automotive care and automobile sales opportunities.
- Keep up-to-date with dealership promotions,



technical advancements like automotive diagnostics, and repair procedures to provide expert advice.

Qualifications

- Proven dealership experience or auto service management background with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes is an asset
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, transmissions, oil changes, brake repair, alignment, suspension work, tire service, diesel engines, shocks & struts, air brake systems, and auto body repair is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining transparency about repairs.
- Experience in auto estimating software and service writing practices; familiarity with automotive sales is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge that enables effective communication with technicians regarding complex repairs such as automotive diagnostics or mechanical troubleshooting.
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple customer files simultaneously while ensuring accuracy in cash handling and record keeping.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude that motivates team collaboration.
